On May 21, the mobile app version of Steam Link launches for Android and iOS devices, allowing Steam games to be played on phones, tablets, and TVs.
A beta will be offered for Android support only, and the device chosen will have to be connected to the local network through either 5Ghz wireless or wired Ethernet connection. You will be able to use the Steam Controller, MFI controllers, and other devices to play games on your device.
Later this summer, this app will be followed by a Steam Video app that will allow you to watch movies and shows sold by Steam. You will be able to stream these videos over WiFi or LTE. Valve has also stated this will support offline playback as well.
