Missed out on the initial run of the NES Classic? GameStop and ThinkGeek are here to save the day!
Starting June 29, GameStop will have a limited stock of the NES Classic, on a first-come, first-served basis, in their retail stores. Just like the initial release, the retro console will be available for $60. Not able to visit their physical location? GameStop is saving the day once more while having it available for purchase on their website.
ThinkGeek will start selling the NES Classic on their website beginning at 9am ET / 6 AM PT on June 29. They have stated the system will not be sold in bundles, but it will be limited to one unit per customer.
Many have been waiting for this opportunity since the system’s initial release in November 2016. Like the initial release, expect a similar demand and show up early to the store, or be in front of your computer screen before the sale launches, as quantities will be limited. Happy hunting!
